...is a beautiful instrumental by
Tom Doughty, played on his Bear Creek kona guitar.
For those of you who have not listened to Tom Doughty, I really recommend you to do so - really beautiful, soulful playing:

He has three albums available: http://www.tomdoughty.com/products.html. I have got "Running Free" and "Have A Taste Of This!" and they are both wonderful albums, full of really great and unique lap slide playing, on Weissenborns and Tricones (Tom gets a sound like no one else out of the top string of the Tricone - so haunting!).
And check out his page with all his lap guitars! Original Weissenborn, Hilo, Kona and other vintage wood guitar, some interesting contemporary hollownecks, vintage National Tricones...

That is a recommendation for you all. There is a
thread about Tom in the "je fais de la pub pour les autres" section, but I thought a thread here with KOA in the title and some links to his Weissenborns might attract some new attention to a great player.
