| Aloha friends, this evening from an idea of tribotone bar , I made one tone bar in Delrin, a particular and resistant plastic material. the Tone is much light (98 g) but it has a good sonorous answer, it is much sweety like sound, it seems the glass bar but a little more warmth… I attach some photos of mine tonebar…. if someone wants one, writes to me spec: Bullet shape length :80mm diameter :20mm weight: 98g |

(98 G are like the old Nick Manoloff, I own one, they are not good) Yes! It is really too light, a good "bullet" bar should at least be 140G, (like the old ones made of metal) or 170G. |

| Hi, Pascal I've just contact Mr. Roberto about his tonebar. He tell me that there are some differences now, by the first prototype ( too much light). I'm waiting some news |

| Hi Bob,
I bought some POM/Delrin bars via Ebay. They seem to be good for sliding. No noise. But I want to polish them to increase the sound. What do you use for polishing yours?
Cheers Klaus |
