Oui j'ai effectivement regardé le sujet de Fred (Thanxs Fred, you youtube video about tone bars is great), mais je trouve quand même le prix de la bête un peu prohibitif...

Are the tribotone tone bar REALLY better than a Brozo-phonic or another tone bar? They are very expensive...68.95$ +15$ international shipping... Dites moi ce que vous en pensez vraiment...
In a word: Oui! Of course what is "best" is subjective. The Broz-o-Phonic is a great sounding bar too, but the Tribo-Tone has the following advantages:
- Much less string noise - Much easier to hold on to (becuase of the surface material) - Fuller and cleaner tone on the heavy strings
Expensive, yes, but for the same reason that other high-quality products handmade in a small workshop with great care are expensive. And Eric offers your money back if you're not satisfied. Other happy users include:
Michael Messer Pascal Mesnier Bob Brozman Basil Henriques Rick Aiello Brad Bechtel Steinar Gregertsen
I am endorsing the Tribo-Tone bars but I would be shouting their praise like this regardless of that - they are fantastic and Eric has through hard work created a truly great tone bar that is a real treat for all us lap sliders!

Ok, ok, ok You've made up my mind, I'll buy one I think the "B" size will perfectly suits me because it's a lil' less heavy than the broz-o-phonic. But I hesistate with the color, I prefer black but when you slide on a dark fretboard, I'm afraid I will not see well the bar...
